Kolkata Angikar - a Commitment to Standing with PeopleSince 2015, Kolkata Angikar has been closely working with New Age Society For All—a home for mentally challenged orphans in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, now caring for 59 children.
Over time, we’ve focused on improving their overall quality of life—providing nutritious food, monthly hygiene supplies, regular physiotherapy, medical beds, healthcare essentials, and seasonal clothing. We’ve set up five medical beds for bedridden children and continue to support them with essential items like diapers, medicines, and health drinks.
Milk and eggs are distributed twice a week, and with support from CINI, we regularly supply Nutrimix as a food supplement.
Kind-hearted individuals join our special day program to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries with these children—bringing smiles and a sense of belonging. We also organise sports days and festive moments that bring joy and connection.
This is more than a project. It’s a growing bond, built on trust, love, and the belief that every child deserves care, dignity, and a reason to smile.
