Vocational Training
Kolkata Angikar - a Commitment to Standing with PeopleKolkata Angikar, in collaboration with ICICI Foundation, has launched a vocational training program to empower financially backward individuals with practical skills and job opportunities.
The program initially followed both online and classroom-based formats, but in response to the pandemic, it shifted entirely online. Once offline sessions resume, students will attend classes at ICICI Academy training centres.
Courses offered under this initiative include:
- Sales and Business Administration
- Mobile Repairing
- AC Repairing
- Nursing
- Beautician Training
To help more people benefit from this initiative, we organise selection seminars with the help of our associate organisations like Bagnan Sankalpa and Kumirmari Samajsebi. Many individuals from Sundarban and Howrah districts have already completed their training and are now preparing for job interviews with confidence.
This program is not just about skill-building—it’s about building a future where financial hardship doesn’t limit anyone’s potential.
