Kolkata Angikar was officially incorporated in 2013 with a handful of compassionate hearts who are committed to bringing light into the lives of the marginalized and economically backward people of Bengal. As an independent philanthropic organization, we stand beside those who desperately need helping hands in this beautiful world. From the remote corners of Sundarbans to the tribal villages of Murshidabad, from special needs children to orphaned hearts, we seek to serve every life with unconditional love. Our journey started with a small savings from our own earnings to serve society’s forgotten souls. Our action spans across caring for underprivileged kids, meeting their nutritional needs, educating & nurturing kids, empowering youths through skill development, and creating safe places for vulnerable children. Our main goal is to transform despair into hope, believing that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a chance to flourish.

Short-Term Vision
We’re striving to make stronger our 6 tribal learning centers in 4 districts of West Bengal —by building safe spaces, bringing in a quality learning approach, setting a model for future schools, and connecting students with digital learning—for a more stable, enriching learning experience.
